Senior Fullstack Java Dev

job summary:Randstad Technologies seeking a senior engineer that will apply well rounded development skills and familiarity with Cloud technologies to develop industry leading applications. This person will be part of team that works on innovative new products, utilizing a modern development stack and the latest cloud technologies. Responsibilities:

• Application development/refactoring in object-oriented language such as Java/Spring.
• Application hosting on cloud compute services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions and Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Asynchronous application development using messaging services like Azure Service Bus.
• Security development (utilizing modern authn/authz protocols such as OIDC & OAuth2 with Azure AD and Okta).
• Assist in development of Single-Page Applications (SPAs) using modern front-end frameworks, primarily Angular
• Work on the containerized microservices.
• Configuring CI/CD pipelines and performing application monitoring.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as full-stack developer utilizing Java and Spring
• Must have the ability to design and develop full stack applications
• 2+ years of Angular experience
• 5+ years of SQL Server experience or an another relational database

Plus skills:

• You have 2+ years of Cloud technology experience (Azure experience is preferred)
• Experience with high volume messaging (Azure Service)
• Experience developing RestAPI's
• Experience developing insurance applications or background in the insurance industry
• You have a deep understanding of developing applications for the public cloud
• You are highly proficient in modern programming languages and ORM frameworks
• Experience with container technologies is a big plus
• Good communication and people skills are important
