job summary:100% RemoteSalesforce certifiedHigher Education! The Junior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for supporting end users with resolving Salesforce related issues. This position is the primary point of contact for client Salesforce support cases submitted by client internal users. They will be responsible for day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance. The candidate will partner with the Salesforce Product Owner to develop end-user training documentation, training plans and to train end users. The Junior Salesforce Administrator will play an important role in managing, editing and customizing Salesforce to ensure the business has the ability to run reports containing key information. Candidates must possess the passion and ability to learn quickly, ask questions, understand business requirements and recommend solutions. They understand the importance of Trailhead/Trailblazer Community and actively leverage it to increase their knowledge and skillset. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform standard administrator functions, such as, user management, report/dashboard maintenance, and field and object creation/modification, page layout updates, etc.
  • Work with end users to provide coaching around best practices and tips on Salesforce usage Support the Salesforce Product Owner with the creation and maintenance of end-user documentation including internal processes
  • Use Data Loader to assist with Data Management including data quality and accuracy
  • Help to identify, document and assist with system enhancements
  • Work closely with Salesforce Product Owner and special projects to expand/enhance the functionality of the Salesforce Platform
  • Serve as the frontline administrator for Salesforce Support Queue for internal users
  • In conjunction with the Salesforce Product Owner, create reports and dashboards for Executive Team
  • Proven track record of successfully working autonomously, and on team-based tasks and projects
  • With the support of the Salesforce Business Analyst go through full Dev Ops Lifecycle Management including UAT
Required: ? Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred Relevant experience (1-3 years) in Salesforce Administrator preferably within higher education, but not required Demonstrated comfort in serving as front-line admin/SME for Salesforce Admin Cases Positive and productive attitude towards training end-users and helping them navigate their day to day business process in Salesforce strong communications skills, both excellent written & oral communication Excellent organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills while working under pressure, often showing initiative and resourcefulness Must be self-motivated and able to work independently Must be able to pay careful attention to detail Quick and creative thinking, ability to overcome challenges or obstacles in the moment Ability to maintain and work in a remote home office location: CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowajob type: Contractsalary: $30 - 40 per hourwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:
