LaSalle Network is currently partnering with a financial organization in Vernon Hills, IL to identify a

Jr. Technical Analyst, Hardware to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and requires the ability to work onsite in Vernon Hills, IL. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday (standard business hours).

Jr. Technical Analyst, Hardware

Responsibilities:
  • Image End User laptops & desktops according to established documentation & standards
  • Provide remote support for hardware installation (home & branch users)
  • Plan and manage the annual refresh project of End User computers, including budget for following year
  • Order new End User computers & peripherals in conjunction with procurement team
  • Perform desk moves, hardware installations, and hardware disposal processes
  • Manage the warranty repair cycle of End User hardware
  • Maintain an accurate asset & consumable inventory through all changes and regular asset audits
  • Create and manage work items according to documented processes & established SLAs
  • Maintain Knowledge Base documentation updating current or creating new where appropriate
  • MACD activities for End User hardware and software on local machines
  • MACD activities for End User account administration, including new hire & termination requests
  • Perform End User training both in organized classes/meetings and "on-the-fly" as required

Jr. Technical Analyst, Hardware Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of hardware & technology support customer service experience
  • Strong written, verbal, team interaction, and empathetic customer service skills
  • Pragmatic and process-based approach to delivering support (ITIL foundation preferred)
  • Ability to write concise, clear support documentation (KCS knowledge preferred)
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions & apply solutions based on info obtained
  • An eye for detail and minutia as they apply to daily activities and administrative duties
  • Ability and strong desire to learn and develop knowledge of End User desktop & laptop technologies
  • Knowledge/Experience of Microsoft Office 365, Citrix Virtual Desktop, Microsoft System Center software is a significant plus
