Architectural Designer

Architectural Design firm is looking for an architecture intern for Summer 2022 and possibly ongoing afterwards. We are a young and growing firm characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit, true team-work across areas of expertise and new ways of approaching conventional tasks. Candidates must be self motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to work without supervision.

This is an ideal position for a recent graduate who is looking to gain some relevant work experience and a great chance to learn.

If you have the following aptitude and skill sets, we would like to hear from you:

Strong conceptual and design skills

Ability to develop design options in collaboration with and for consideration of design team

Intermediate to Advanced Skills with Rhino

Should know how to use Enscape or be willing to learn it

Revit is not necessary but good

Intermediate to Advanced with Adobe Suite

Very comfortable with Google Docs

Model making

Ability to prepare, develop and edit drawings and models as they relate to the project

Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and budget own time.

Willingness to take on constructive guidance in response to direction from managers

A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working

For the technical skills listed above, please be honest with yourself. Rejection takes it's toll.

This is a paid job. $40 - $50/hr
