US Citizens ONLY Fed Contract6 months contract to hireonsite in Idaho Falls Idaho may become hybrid after training. An Identity Management System Administration will perform the following duties:Subcontractor shall demonstrate knowledge and possess technical and soft skills in the following areas:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a DOE Q clearance/ Secret Clearance or above is preferred and be able to maintain that clearance since this position must maintain and protect the confidentiality of sensitive or classified information.
  • Verbal and written communications, problem resolution, and decision making. Extremely strong communication skills are vital.
  • Solid understanding of general business and specialized Personnel Security fields.
  • Ability to develop solutions to significant problems and recommend techniques to meet company/customer initiatives.
  • Computer systems administration, applications, access controls, and separations of duties within database functionality permissions.
  • Must be located or willing to relocate to Idaho Falls Idaho, or surrounding area.
  • Experience with the HID SAFETM application is recommended but not required.
Work to be Performed.
  • Collaborate with other information management systems administrators and users. Serve as the spokesperson and act as the technical point of contact for this business application. Coordinate day- to-day collaboration with developers and database administrators to ensure reliability, functional and operability of key business systems.
  • Ensure all associated hardware is functioning to issue the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12), Local Site building access Badges, MFA computer access badges, Protective Force Weapons Cards, and Visitor Management credentials at all three Badging offices.
  • Provide technical expertise and oversight as a system administrator of the SAFE application servers and database with the following preferred skills: write and understand complex queries for validating, modifying, and reporting on data stored within a relational database; understanding of trigger and stored procedures integrated within the application database; understanding of Microsoft servers and troubleshooting application services including IIS; coordination with vendor to include upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting and coordination with internal technical staff for integration of data with other applications via APIs, SSIS and other mechanisms.
  • Independently identify, research, and participate in the resolution of complex problems involving database, application, server, and other connected systems, and recommend path forward for system upgrades and fixes; monitor the day-to-day operational activities of support personnel and programmers and troubleshoot problems, ensure their resolution and timely communication.
  • Enhance and maintain Personnel Security information systems / databases and implement new system applications.
  • Provide technical requirements to customers, which includes analysis, design, program enhancements, installations, and application software testing and deployment for Personnel Security applications.
  • Function as the IDMS Administrator. Function as the main point of contact between management, vendor, and technical support to ensure that new and ongoing software enhancements are consistent with business applications. Evaluate work processes and user requests and work with vendors to develop software solutions that create process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain user access controls and subsequent documentation.
  • Collaborate with Information Management on integration of security systems to information management systems including the enrollment certificate authority, electronic directory services, common data store, training, and other systems. Maintain the service that works with the Argus security system for physical access.
  • Identify and provide training for backup system administrators for the purpose of continuity of Personnel Security operations.
