CRI Advantage is looking for a Senior System Administrator to work ONSITE Idaho Falls, Idaho with our team that supports missions to protect our nation's critical infrastructure. Travel up to 50% (usually 25% or less).

This work is ONSITE in Idaho Falls, Idaho when not traveling.

Relocation assistance is available.

Our team is part of a coordinated national effort to secure the nations critical infrastructure from all natural and manmade hazards. We create and maintain interfaces and access to commercial, local, state and federal customers including utilities enabling them to conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and utilize infrastructure protection tools against cyber threats. This work is mission-critical, and CRI is proud to be building teams to help protect our nation.

Must have:
  • Must be US Citizen
  • 2-3+ years of relevant System Administration or Site Reliability Engineering experience
  • Must have or be eligible for a Q//SCI clearance.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for site scoping and new system deployments.
  • Strong DevOps focus using software to automate hardware
  • deployments, maintenance, and monitoring using Ansible automation tools and scripts (Bash, Python, Powershell)
  • Experience administering Linux (e.g. Red Hat) and Windows systems.
  • Create and update ongoing documentation of the environment.
  • Conduct internal monitoring and maintenance of security tools for
  • internal and external partner use.
  • Strong enterprise networking experience with VPN configuration, routing, switching, subnetting, interface configuration and cabling (copper and fiber up to 100Gbps of various types).
  • Experience with network monitoring tools such as packet brokers, taps, and configuration of SPAN ports.
  • Engage in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies.
  • Perform continuous improvements by identifying and solving system administration problems and gaps in knowledge and documentation.
  • Network administration experience or CCNA or higher Cisco certification is a plus.
