NOTE: This role is working for Aquent Studios on projects for one of its top clients (Morgan Stanley), on a team that is currently working a hybrid role (must be able to be onsite at the client's facility in Alpharetta, GA, as needed currently the team is working in the client office 3 days per week ).

NOTE: This is a long-term engagement of up to three (3) years.

NOTE: W2 only. No C2C, please.

NOTE: Regarding the interview process: our team will send qualified candidates a technical assessment that the client has developed. There will be up to three (3) live coding challenges and multiple meetings with the client hiring team.

NOTE: The candidate must be able to appear on video in all meetings.

FRONT END DEVELOPERWe are looking for an experienced Front End Developer to join our client's UX team. The primary focus will be on maintaining and fixing bugs in the existing component library. Working with the UX team, they will eventually be shifting over to building new components utilizing Web Component technology.The candidate will be working with a team to uphold and maintain proper coding standards, not only in their own code, but others as well. There is also a heavy emphasis and consideration for accessibility when developing design system components.We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, but also keeps an open mind in hearing other perspectives.Typical responsibilities include:
  • Investigating and fixing bugs for existing components
  • Code reviewing PRs
  • Participating in dailies (stand ups/refinement)
  • Helping other teams with any issues they may have with the component library
  • Unit Testing
  • Dealing with accessibility issues
  • Developing new components

Required Skills
  • Four (4) or more years of experience with building responsive web applications
  • Excellent Javascript, CSS and HTML
  • Experience with a Javascript framework (i.e., Angular, React, Vue) or Web Components
  • Solid understanding of object oriented programming
  • Ability to communicate ideasAbility to debug issues

Additional Skills (a plus)
  • Understanding of WCAG and coding for accessibility
  • Experience working with screen readers (e.g JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, etc.)
