RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in Atlanta, GA.Responsibilities: As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work throughout the software development life cycle and performs in a utility capacity to create, design, code, debug, maintain, test, implement and validate applications with a broad understanding of a variety of languages and architectures Analyzes existing applications or formulate logic for new applications, procedures, flowcharting, coding and debugging programs Maintains and utilizes application and programming documents in the development of code Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards Creates appropriate deliverables and develops application implementation plans throughout the life cycle in an agile development environment Use a wide variety of AWS cloud services to implement and support platform architecture Model and create resources in Kubernetes Model, build, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform on AWS Build, maintain, and support InfoSec solutions Site Reliability Engineer will effectively manage and assign projects while lending support to the team Build and maintain tools, solutions and microservices associated with deployment and our operations platform Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch Test the system integrity, implemented designs, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed Automate the operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements Establish DevOps Engineer team best practices Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes Work with open-source technologies Work with CI and CD tools, and source control such as Bitbucket/Jenkins/Sonar/Nexus and Docker Lead the team through development and operationsREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or a combination of education and experience equivalent (e.g., 3 years of work experience = 1 year of missing education) 4 years of experience as Software Engineer or related position 3 years of Automation Scripting experience using Python and Groovy 2 years of experience in Kubernetes and Cloud Technologies 2 years of experience in LinuxThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
