Job DetailsWe are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in machine design, robotics and industrialautomation. Mechanical Design Engineers work as part of a small project team, primarily designing andexecuting robot cells. We are looking for a capable, creative and self-motivated professional who wantsa career working in a constantly changing variety of applications, industries and engineering challenges.Education and Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• 8+ years of Mechanical Design Experience
• Machine design, robotics and automation experience
• SolidWorks experience

Description:The Mechanical Design Engineer position involves:

• Understanding and implementing the technical requirements and scope of work for each project
• Interacting with the project manager, project engineers, the fabrication shop and the customer

in a professional, productive and effective manner

• Adhering to project schedules and budgets while working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Designing robot cells, end-of-arm tooling and custom equipment within the cell
• Selecting and specifying robots and other cell equipment
• Generating detail and assembly drawings of custom equipment including end-of-arm tools
• Testing and troubleshooting equipment,
• Supporting the fabrication and installation team

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Proficiency with 3-D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred) and 3-D AutoCAD
• Knowledge of ANSI/ASME drafting standards; ability to read, create and check drawings
