- An SDET works closely with the development team is a part of POD teams.
- They drive or implement CI CD, Test Ops and In Sprint testing.
- They perform activities such as development of scripts, execution and debugging, results analysis, defect reporting, and help in designing frameworks, conduct code reviews and verify coding standards are met.
- The key objectives are customer satisfaction, zero production defects and faster test execution cycles.
- They also participate in other practice requirements such as documenting case studies and interviewing testers.
- Requires ability in one of the technology domain like Digital, Data specializations.
- Perform hands-on in CICD, Build & Deploy tools
- Implement end-to-end automation process including provisioning, environment setup, auto start testing until deployment # Identify flaws in code & framework and enhance it
- Must have good knowledge on NFR and understand performance testing and its attributes
- Have knowledge of API, web services, functional, mobile testing
- Show expertise in automation scripting, apply best practices and write efficient code
- Understands the business drivers and solution of the system under test
