.NET Applications Programmer

Applications Programmer will serve as a .Net engineer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing of portal, websites, applications/solutions that interfaces with many sub-systems to improve operational costs and efficiency. You will be directly involved in .Net application coding, system debugging, code reviewing, and the development of operational procedures. You will work with other internal and external development teams to produce scalable and functional applications. As an integral part of the Digital Services team, you will help drive the ongoing evolution of our web solutions and emerging technologies.This position will serve our Enterprise Division, located in Roswell, GA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Full Software Lifecycle Application Development – designing, coding, debugging, deploying, and documenting applications in the .Net/C# framework and testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility.
  • Write elegant, stable, efficient, and scalable code utilizing both internal and external development best practices.
  • Combine data, best practices, and latest technologies to improve websites, libraries, and applications to keep Rheem at leading edge digital innovation.
  • Participate in the development process from definition, through design, build, test, release, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate constantly with our frontend, backend, and mobile development teams to ensure that the entire Customer Experience team is in-step, working together, and hitting goals as a team.
  • Help drive the formulation of enterprise-wide digital design standards that will shape the future of Rheem web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with external customers and internal sales teams and across business units and job functions including IT, web developers, creative designers, software developers and copywriters to accomplish primary objectives.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED

  • High technical aptitude
  • A bachelor’s or higher degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, computer science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience and intermediate technical skill set that spans .Net, C#, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Git, along with a burning desire to convert that skill level to an advanced degree
  • Experienced in object-oriented design and strong knowledge of core libraries and common design patterns.
  • Solid understanding of front and backend architecture and security best practices.
  • Experience with IIS, Microsoft Web API development, and/or other similar languages/frameworks/technologies.
  • Experienced with integration and creation of databases (MSSQL and PostgreSQL) and web services (REST, JSON).
  • Experience with the following technologies are a plus:
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Scripting languages
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation; aptitude for drawing meaningful insights.
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., technology, product managers, engineers, business teams) and external subject matter experts.
  • Passionate about building and owning innovative, customer facing services/products.
  • Great presentation and communication skills
  • Possesses a track record of excellent performance, proactivity, and exceptional work practices.

HOW TO STAND OUT
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • HVAC / Water Heating industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies along with Scripting languages is a plus.
  • Agile project management skills and experience are a plus.
  • Azure DevOps experience is a plus.
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
  • Deadline oriented with proven task-completion record; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to circumstances and situations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with aptitude for communicating with various B2B end users and consumer segmentations.
  • Possesses a track record of excellent performance, proactivity, and exceptional work practices.
