ETL Teradata Developer Production Support role

Job Title: ETL Teradata Developer Production Support role Job location:Atlanta,GA Job Type: Contract Client is looking for ETL Data Engineer to build end to end business solutions and to work with one o the leading healthcare providers in the US. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and know how to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the team. Responsibilities: Design, Development & Support of ETL Methodology for Data Transformations Source and Target analysis, data profiling, data cleanliness, ETL mappings, ETL workflows, and performance tuning. Develop Business Intelligence solutions in Data Warehouse/Decision Support Systems using ETL tools Work on enhancements/bug fixes, performance tuning, troubleshooting, impact analysis and research skills Efficiently manage project team span across onsite and offshore locations Create / Modify and optimize database schemas, stored procedures and SQL queries. Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving data issues. Write Complex Stored Procedures Working closely with business stakeholders and assist with data analysis with regard to SQL. Preparing the mapping documents for the existing stored procedures. Analyze the performance issues of existing stored procedure and fine tune performance of the system Identifies and proposes database system improvements and changes. Implements systems changes, upgrades, and modifications according to business needs. Maintain active relationships with stakeholders to understand business requirements, lead requirement gathering meetings and review designs with the stake holders Perform technical design reviews and code reviews Perform peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability and the use of best practices Participate in collaborative technical discussions that focus on design, architecture, and development Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes Troubleshoot software application and technical issues - identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements Requirements: 10+ years of Experience in Design, Development & Support of ETL Methodology for Data Transformations 10+ years of Data Integration experience, including EDI, ETL, Data Warehouse, and Data Conversion. Strong experience in Source and Target analysis, data profiling, data cleanliness, ETL mappings, ETL workflows, and performance tuning. Must have experience in designing and developing Business Intelligence solutions in Data Warehouse/Decision Support Systems using ETL tools Must have expertise in enhancements/bug fixes, performance tuning, troubleshooting, impact analysis and research skills Must have 5+ years of leading an ETL development team operates in Offshore-Onshore model Must be an expert in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries Excellent knowledge on writing complex SQL stored procedures in an application development environment. Must be excellent in writing complex SQL queries Prior experience on executing offshore model project Location Preferred location is Atlanta followed by any other locations including but not limited to Richmond VA, Atlanta GA, Norfolk VA, Mason, OH, Woodland Hills CA, Thousand Oaks CA.
