hybrid position of on-site and teleworkingThe Information Technology Division is seeking candidates for a Developer position within ITD reporting to the Manager for Document Imaging Application Development and Support. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for development and application support on Document Management Systems and related applications. The successful candidate will perform requirements gathering and analysis, application development, configuration, software debugging, application testing, preparation of implementation documentation, and production application support. This position a hybrid work position (on-site/teleworking).Job Responsibilities:1. Design, code, test, modify, install, and debug software applications that integrate with Docfinity and related applications.2. Design, code, test, modify, install, and debug software applications that integrate with in-house Document Indexing System.3. Research and analyze system problems the create solutions and develop program documentation.4. Translate business requirements into development tasks for secure and maintainable code.5. Communicate to business users the required information on business inquiries.6. Modify and create SQL queries in both Oracle and SQL server databases.7. Perform daily job functions to ensure complete and error–free processing of Document images into all image repositories.8. Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.Essential Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in computer science, information technology or information system management.Minimum 3 years’ experience of object-oriented development and the system development life cycle with experience coding in the Microsoft .Net Framework. (C#, VB, JavaScript) using Microsoft Visual Studio.Minimum 3 years’ experience in SQL server and Oracle databases with proficiency in using SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL.Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, coding best practices and general debugging procedures.Preferred Qualifications:2 years working with Definity applications and workflows.2 years’ experience working with Document Management information systems and scanning equipment.4 years’ experience in design, coding, and testing Microsoft Windows web applications and web services. Quality Assurance Experience with knowledge of the development and execution of detail test cases with enterprise level applications.
