Database Performance Assurance Engineer

Job Title: Performance Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA or Lincoln, NE

Job Summary:Looking for a Performance Engineer to work onsite in Alpharetta, GA or Lincoln, NE. Need a strong background in performance testing, load testing, SQL and C#.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with performance oriented design of database system, schemas, and objects for new products
• Design tests for various business-driven database scenarios that demonstrate performance response/capacity and quantify/analyze the performance results
• Provide resource requirements for a given capacity or load scenario based on test results or production analysis
• Perform complex query analysis, tuning, and schema refinement
• Design and develop database objects, tables, indexes, stored procedures, views, triggers, etc

Requirements:

• Performance testing background - built test plans/scripts from scratch and reported on results/risk (they use an in house load testing tool built on C#)
• Strong database expertise (SQL)
• DevOps background (programmers perspective on things)
• SQL Server for Dev with C# knowledge
