RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, a leader in the 3D Printing industry, is looking for a combined Training and Field Service Engineer in Alpharetta, GA.Summary:In this role, the 3D Print Trainer/FSE would be working remotely, on-site at their GA Training center and at customer locations to deliver FSE or Operator Training, or, troubleshoot, maintain and repair 3D Printers. After they finish with on-the-job training, the 3D Print Trainer/FSE would get to put technical, mechanical and electrical skills to use every day in new and challenging situations while interacting with a wide variety of people, machines and settings.Responsibilities: Deliver FSE and Operator Training to Client Customers and Partners - either remotely (virtual), or, in person in our Alpharetta Lab or onsite at our customer locations Assist the remote Team at providing remote Support functions (when required) Assist the Field Service Team at providing onsite Technical Break and Fix Support (when required) Troubleshoot, test and analyze complex issues related to uninterruptible power systems Repair and maintain electronic controllers, transfer devices, automation equipment, peripheral equipment and mechanical units Make recommendations regarding upgrades, service or repairs and perform preventive maintenance on equipment Assess hardware and software malfunctions by means of diagnostic tools and customer input Disassemble and reassemble machines to repair or replace worn or malfunctioning components and consumables Travel locally to our Atlanta area customers, or at times, travel within the US or Canada to support customers onsite Educate and train customers on maintenance, replenishment of material and supplies, basic troubleshooting skills and Customer Self Replacement componentsREQUIREMENTS: Technical or Electrical Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred Electrical or mechanical troubleshooting experience Prior Remote or Onsite Support experience Prior Training experience a plus Ability to work productively with minimal supervision Good communication and customer service skills Understanding of tools and technology needed to complete repairs (we provide tools) Up to 25% travel, when required, primarily in the Atlanta area market, or, nationally in the US and CanadaPreferred: 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role 3 years of experience in hardware support or repair work 2-3+ years of experience in Capital Equipment, Manufacturing Equipment or Industrial Printing Repair (3D or Additive Manufacturing experience a plus, but, not necessary)Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
