Atlanta-Georgia-Onsite Duration: Long Term Job Description: The selected developer with design, test, and move to production a working "Trip Planner" solution that will be accessible for use by external passengers from the ATL.com homepage via a "Trip Planner" designated link.ATL.com is built with the current version of WordPress and the "Trip Planner" will need to be designed in a manner consistent with the current platform and deliverable needs.The developer will design, test, and implement the necessary items, steps, and logic to allow a data driven and accurate passenger facing solution.The development and implementation of all tasks will be performed on site at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport during the normal business hours of Monday-Friday, 8:15am-5pm.

Job Description:The selected developer will perform the following tasks to include, but not limited to: For Trip Planner Application:

• Write code to create a systemic process/method to create a passenger itinerary
• Systematically create/store the passenger itinerary using core components identified
• Advise AVS management of issues or technical difficulties and highlight necessary resources and timescales associated with the delivery of project work.
• Notify AIS Management of data gaps, quality issues and obstacles to delivery.
• Create and provide documentation for system configuration and implementation. This includes a how-to and user guide for maintenance and future updates.
• Test system stability post installation.

For Web Development Tasks:

• Create APIs for system integration
• Develop/update web pages using PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

Job requirements Extensive knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services - including API, CSS, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web user interface design. Experience in implementing web development workflows and operations using a variety of tools, including GitHub. Experience with Windows and Linux environments. Skills in organizing and proposing process enhancements, ability to plan and carry out virtually any typical assignment within a professional area. Ability to train others. Technical writing skills for documentation to include maintenance plans and implementation plans.
