Arthrex is actively seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (Test) Analyst in our IT Division with the responsibility of leading the testing of CRM projects on the Salesforce platform. The Senior SQA Analyst will lead offshore testers as well as perform all aspects of test planning, design, execution, and reporting as part of a dynamic software test team with established standards and processes in place supporting best practices in manual and automated testing of new feature enhancements, patches, and fixes for web and mobile. Experience testing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and integrated applications built on the Salesforce platform preferred. Experience testing the Salesforce mobile app preferred. Experience testing Salesforce integrations to SAP, Cvent, or Conga Contract Lifecycle Management is a plus. The Senior SQA Analyst will work with SpiraPlan as a test management tool and with Selenium and Appium as test automation tools. A successful candidate must be able to analyze and test business flows from end to end. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work independently, as well as leading a test team, under limited supervision of SQA manager or supervisor with latitude for independent judgement, to evaluate software applications used by various business units within Arthrex. Plan and lead large and complex release projects including all testing activities test planning; project estimation and scheduling; resource planning, training, and oversight; test development; test execution; defect management; daily/weekly status reporting; and project closure. Apply test methodology, define test strategy and types of testing to be performed, and ensure comprehensive testing is performed on the project to assure the quality of an applications usability, functionality, security, and performance. Ensure Arthrex SQA standards and procedures are followed by test team. Fully responsible for the entire testing project. Handle the more technically complex testing assignments including integrations with other systems, performance testing if needed, and migration of data from one database or system to another in large implementation or major release projects. Work with infrastructure and application development teams to establish and maintain test environments. Communicate issues identified during testing activities to application development team lead and manager, assist in the triage and resolution, advise on design/architectural solutions, and recommend process/application improvements to management. Represent SQA on application/project teams and in software development, project planning, and requirement gathering meetings. Attend project status meetings and provide SQA status, work with PM to define SQA tasks and estimates for the project schedule. Manage SQA tasks and deadlines, as test lead, for individual or multiple projects. Define and track SQA metrics such as requirements coverage, test case readiness, test execution progress, and defect counts and statistics in SQA test management tool or oversee and review the delegation of these tasks. Evaluate software defect trends and work with application development teams to improve coding and unit testing practices to reduce defects in subsequent builds/releases and improve code quality upon turnover to SQA. Develop, and/or oversee the development and review of, all testing artifacts test cases, automated test scripts, test plan document, test summary report, and requirement traceability matrix in SQA test management tool and in SQA project repository and Arthrex Document Management system using Arthrex standard templates. Perform peer reviews and internal audits of project documentation. Prepare knowledge documents and provide cross training to team members. Act as application SME and therefore is the point of contact within SQA for education of testers on specific applications and automation tools. Mentor junior-level analysts and assist with managing their daily tasks, providing performance feedback, and developing talent. Lead and oversee test automation activities for products assigned, including contributing improvements to the automation framework developing scripts, and planning for the execution and maintenance of automation scripts. Assist in release management /production deployment activities, which may include working with DevOps teams in implementing continuous integration processes to include test automation. May participate in or lead scrum/agile teams in implementing behavior driven development or some other form of accelerated software engineering practices. May assist business analysts in UAT and with end user training. Follow, enforce, and own improvements to SQA tools, standards, procedures, and processes. Drive team efficiency through innovation and assist SQA management with executing on strategic initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field required 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance performing UI, Functional, Regression, Integration/Interface/File Transfer, Data Migration (ETL), and Performance testing of packaged, custom developed (.Net/Java), and mobile applications required Advanced experience with testing business applications running on web, client server, and mobile platforms required, including performance of OS and browser compatibility testing ERP knowledge required and testing experience preferred Experience with testing relational databases, SQL, and XML/JSON; advanced database querying skills required Experience with testing web services, integrations, or APIs and using automation test tools for this testing is required Advanced experience with using SolMan, SpiraTest, Zephyr Scale or equivalent Test Management tool required Experience with using and developing automation scripts in UFT, SolMan CBTA, Selenium, or equivalent Test Automation tool required Experience in testing emergency application defects in production systems, system patches, maintenance releases, enhancement releases, and implementations of new applications required Experience in analyzing business, functional, and technical requirements/specifications and developing and executing structured/methodical test cases to prove fulfillment of requirements and viability of application usage and functionality required Experience in leading complex testing projects and coordinating and managing tasks of team members Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Working knowledge of the Software Development Life cycle and SQAs role in it through proven explanation of the process Solid understanding of programming languages and several technologies including relational databases, SQL and XML/JSON Demonstrated ability to document test plans, test cases, test results Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills High attention to detail and accuracy Project management skills with ability to identify urgencies, risks and competing priorities and constraints; to prioritize tasks for team members; and to meet project deadlines Leadership skills with ability to provide technical training to team members, influence development of business solutions, and lead multiple teams and projects Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and a customer service orientation ISTQB Foundation Level certification (CTFL), ISTQB Foundation Level Agile Extension (CTFL-AT) and ASTQB Mobile Tester certification (CMT) preferred Location: Naples, FL or Remote Work From Home We would like this position to sit with us in our Corporate Headquarters in Naples to work directly with the team with a partial-flexible WFH policy in effect.
