Description The successful candidate would be responsible for providing technical assistance with hardware, software, and network problems. On a day-to-day basis you would provide technical support to other teams within the office. You will also maintain the company's IT infrastructure by troubleshooting system issues and implementing security measures.If you are an IT support or helpdesk specialist looking for a new opportunity where you can fully own your role, look no further! About the role: Responsibilities:• Work with our current Managed IT Service partner to develop and deploy new systems and technologies.• Configure computers, printers, scanners, phones and components and associated services.• Serve as the first level of contact for IT assistance to staff.• Respond to customer and employees' issues via phone, email, and ticketing system.• Escalate issues to the next tier if necessary.• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software• Create and modify users for Google Workplace and its ecosystem applications• Create, modify, and suspend users from application services.• Basic understanding of network devices and terminology (TCP/IP, WAN, LANetc)• Handle onboarding and terminations per SOP's.• Training end-users on hardware functionality, software programs and applications.• Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests.• Help manage IT and digital marketing platforms for online, virtual, live events and web applications.• Execute business-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity and availability of company's data and servers. Requirements Required: 2 years of experience as an IT support or helpdesk. Exceptional ability to provide technical support and provide customer service. In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software systems including networking. Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users on all products. Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics. Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Occasional travel to local office is required.
