Software QA Automation Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Software QA Automation Engineer in Miramar, Florida (FL).Responsibilities include: Develops and documents test plans, test cases, SQL scripts, and automation scripts based on user requirements, condition data Develops, documents, and executes automation and implements regression, functional, and integration tests across various enterprise applications Software QA Automation Engineer documents and tracks software failures using Jira or HELIX ALM issue tracker Works collaboratively with developers and Quality Assurance team members to resolve outstanding defects Software QA Automation Engineer supports ongoing work to automate, document quality assurance regression testing, and contributes towards continuous improvements End-to-end ownership of the testing processes and frameworks for our service-oriented architecture Tests case creation and hands-on testing of more complex features Presents test result status to development directors, product managers, and executivesREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degrees in Information Systems, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) or Certified Software Tester (CSTE) preferred 5+ or more years of experience in quality assurance, working with developers, project and release managers; Or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience 5+ years of overall experience as an SDET 5+ years of experience developing software testing frameworks and developing test scripts using industry standard programming languages. Ideally TypeScript. Hands on strong experience writing GUI test automation tests using tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid Hands on experience in scripting and executing tests against Back End including REST Webservices/ Microservice Architecture Hands on experience using automated testing frameworks like BDD (Behavior Driven Development) Cucumber, Jasmine, and Mocha frameworks Experience in handling and automating test data needed for automated test execution within CI pipelines using Jenkins and Selenium Grid Ability to manage multiple automation projects, work under pressure and tight deadlines, work independently, and work in a team environment Explores and actively promotes the adoption of modern technologies and design patterns Ability to investigate and troubleshoot difficult technical problems across the entire technology stack Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Experience with load and performance testing tools like JMeter, Locust is a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
