Software Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's educational client located in Winter Park, FL is looking for a Software Developer.Summary:This position is responsible for development of application flow, business logic and data access across assigned applications for client. The Software Developer will work in a team environment creating and maintaining source code for enterprise applications primarily written in Java and work with team leaders in troubleshooting issues. Developers may be assigned to support one or more applications across the enterprise. Software Developers are also responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle including unit testing and the creation and maintenance of documentation relating to applications and/or tools they maintain. This client is a cross platform environment supporting Linux, Mac OS, and Windows.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field 5+ years of experience using Java, C#, or another object-oriented programming language 5+ years of experience using SQL 3+ years of relevant work experience in a related field 1+ years of experience using Linux OS 1+ years of experience writing and deploying applications in the cloud Experience with Linux, Mac OS, and Windows Web and mobile application development experience; JavaScript, React/React Native AWS experience; S3; SQS; SNS; RDS; Lambda Issue tracking experience Git experience Understand and lead use of enterprise integration patterns, unit testing framework (JUnit), application frameworks (Spring), and web services and microservices Understand client/server architecture Understand asynchronous message communication Understand process documentation Understand software lifecycle methodology Desire to learn and help others Motivated self starter Excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills Methodical, consistent and patient approach to troubleshooting Participatory approach to team work Active participation in waterfall and agile development processes Assist less experienced developers with technical and design challenges Ability to help prioritize and juggle many small and important projectsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
