- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience developing, operating and maintaining security systems
- Extensive knowledge of operating system and database security
- Proficiency in networking technologies, network security and network monitoring solutions
- Knowledge of security systems including anti-virus applications, content filtering, next generation firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, authentication systems and intrusion detection and notification systems
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols and principles
- Critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Detailed understanding of cybersecurity methodologies
- Excellent understanding of technologies such as firewalls, vpn, data loss prevention, antimalware, ids/ips, IAM, security audits, azure, aws, o365, scripting, terraform, hashicorp Vault
- Knowledge of security principles and best practices
- Knowledge of security frameworks and controls (e.g., NIST, CIS, PCI, GLBA, NYDFS)
- Attention to detail with problem-solving skills
- Understanding of project management methodology
- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines
- Qualifications/Requirements
- Knowledge of current and emerging information security technologies and development

- Solid communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to document Information Security

- Strong knowledge with experience in Linux and Windows operating systems
- Working knowledge of security software and tools

- 8+ years experience in IT, with 6+ years in Information Security Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
- Design computer security strategy and engineer comprehensive cybersecurity architecture.
- Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
- Plan, develop, implement and update company's information security strategy.
- Educate and train staff on information system security best practices.
- Designing and implementing security measures based on business needs and industry best practices
- Creating security policies, procedures, and plans to safeguard data and systems from cyber attacks
- Analyzing the impact of emerging technologies on existing security systems and identifying potential risks
- Providing recommendations on new security measures to strengthen existing security systems
- Installing and troubleshooting new security systems
- Execute IT security standards and procedures
- Conduct security research in keeping abreast of latest security issues
- Role requires some advanced system administration experience
- Solid familiarity with application and network security
- Perform other essential duties as assigned
- Have 3 or more years of experience in Azure Cloud.
- Have 3 or more years in Security.
- Be a certified Azure Security Engineer Associate (Minimum), preferred Expert.
- Proficient at Azure Policy (How to create, apply, and the lifecycle of Azure Policy)
- Proficient at interacting with Azure using PowerShell
- Proficient at dealing with ARM and Bicep templates and how to modify them to comply with Azure Policies.
