Casting for Live Stage Comedy Actress to Perform In Los Angeles

Skitsations, a 15 year old organization and the longest running all scripted sketch comedy troupe in south Florida has one opening for a talented actress to perform with us at the next annual U.S. Sketch Comedy Competition in Los Angeles in Nov 2022.

This annual event that has been running since 2008 is a prestigious industry event that attracts as many as 50 or more industry executives such as agents, managers, producers, directors, and casting directors that are there specifically to discover new up and coming talent so it is an exceptional career exposure opportunity. Additionally, there is generally a large general live audience as well and the event is held in Hollywood, California at the most famous venues in the world for comedy which included the world famous Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, Melrose Improv, TLC Chinese Theater, Acme Comedy Theater, Hudson Theater and the Los Angeles Theatre Center.

There will only be 4 groups performing at the competition, but Skitsations is guaranteed a slot as the director is the producer. To prepare we will be rehearsing once a week at our rehearsal space in Coral Springs on Wed nights 9-11PM and will do several local shows between now and November to be ready to perform against some of the best sketch comedy groups in the nation.

There is no fees to belong to our group and we will be doing some fundraising to help defray the cost of travel, but candidates should be able to have the time and be able to afford travel to LA in November.
