Guavate Puerto Rican Eatery & Bistro Established in 2005 Guavate is a full service family restaurant serving authentic Puerto Rican cuisine.
Must have experience cooking in a commercial kitchen and managing staff. Kitchen manager should have a professional appearance and attitude, along with excellent organizational skills and be highly dependable.
Kitchen manager will oversee all aspects of the kitchen with the ability to assist lead cook or jump on the line if needed.
Main task of the Kitchen Manager include;
Direct staff in kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, presentation and cleanup.
Follow and Enforce all policies and procedures.
Work with the lead chef and front of house to provide excellent quality and service.
Maintain organized kitchen systems including health and safety standards.
Work with General Manager to set up and stock kitchen with needed equipment and supplies.
Monitor food waste and find solutions to minimize food waste.
Assists and/or completes additional tasks as assigned
Bilingual Spanish/English; will be very helpful.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Authorized to work in the United States.
Applicants should live in Clermont or close by, within 30 minuets drive.
3+ years of experience in a back-of-house management position.
Organized and familiar with kitchen supplies and equipment needed to run the kitchen.
Weekday, evening and weekend availability.
Experience is valued over formal education.
