RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Support Technician in Coral Gables, FL. The candidate will be responsible for the Helpdesk, Logical Security Software, Physical Security, and the Awareness Program.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; Other duties may be assigned: IT Support Technician will perform systems support of end-user; Install, upgrade, and configure systems hardware and operating system software for accessing local and bank resources Provide first-level support and problem resolution on user's desktops applications; Provide general client consultation in-person, by phone, electronically and/or remotely on IT Services Monitor that Security Software keeps up to date and deployed to all the computers and servers in the network Lead the IT and the Information Security Awareness Program, proposing the topics for each awareness period, and deploying material and courses to the employees of the agency Input and maintain problem-tracking database for client problem resolution and report generation; Route problems to appropriate service provider when necessary; Act as client advocate and track issue until resolved Notifies supervisor of errors and equipment stoppage IT Support Technician sets up equipment for meetings and presentations Primary backup of the Project and Planning Analyst Build and update all end user's applications documentation Coordinate technical support with providers Physical Security Officer (card access, alarm codes, bank keys administrator)REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; Or two to three years related experience and/or training; Or equivalent combinations of education and experience Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine MIS reports Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understandings to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; The ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Working knowledge of the Spanish language in order to communicate and coordinate with our overseas offices Able to work after hours and on weekends when it is required Able to travel overseas for small periods of time with short noticeKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
