Electronics Repair Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's educational client located in Winter Park, FL is looking for an Electronics Repair Technician onsite. The Electronics Repair Technician will maintain and support our industry-leading products and systems. They will assess, repair, and document these products and systems using soldering, testing, and the basics of electrical engineering. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) in campus keeping respective upkeep log Diagnostic, troubleshoot and repairs of electrical-electronic assemblies as directed Electronic rework at component level including final testing Wiring management and equipment install maintaining or creating respective documentation Maintain and repair shop environment safe and organized Assist junior staff complete assigned tasks as needed Other duties as requiredREQUIREMENTS: Associate degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent Motivated self starter Excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills Methodical, consistent and patient approach to troubleshooting Participatory approach to team work Active participation in waterfall and agile development processes Assist less experienced developers with technical and design challenges Ability to help prioritize and juggle many small and important projects Practical knowledge of electricity, analog, digital electronics Able to read schematics and troubleshoot Soldering proficiency Good engineering practices, including safety and documentationKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
