Job Purpose:FLDOE DEL is seeking an Applications Development Analyst with a strong background in MS T/SQL, writing stored procedures, user functions using complex objects and patterns with the following minimum qualifications (must be clearly stated on the resume and verifiable via reference checks): Primary Job Duties and Tasks • Understanding the project requirements and project goals and using that understanding to produce deliverables• Working with Business Analyst to create and/or update project, technical, and training materials as needed.• Actively participate in meetings or other project activities to produce project deliverables• Communicating accomplishments to BA to produce weekly status reports that outlines accomplishments and planned activities for the following week• Understanding the project requirements and project goals and using that understanding to produce project deliverables• Communicating project progress and information to key team members.• Assisting in the preparation of information for program leadership team, executive steering committee, and project manager as appropriate.• Ensuring technical direction and standards for infrastructure and software applications are being followed.• Understanding strategic direction and tactical goals, and effectively participating in the development and implementation of business solutions.• Assisting both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines.• Identifying and eliminating obstacles to solution plans, business goals or implementation. Assist in the development and implementation of contingency plans.• Participating in conference calls with State and Federal stakeholders, as necessary.• Researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the project / program. About the Candidate:

QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; or equivalent work experienceRequired ExperienceThis position requires the following experience and/or knowledge: 1. 8+ years’ experience working with MS SQL database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and administration of multiple platform environment.2. May manage and maintain production and non-production databases.3. 8+ years’ experience writing complex efficient queries, views, stored procedures, and user defined functions with MS T/SQL4. 5+ years’ experience with MS SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) utilizing, parameters, sub-reports, drill down technologies and subscriptions5. 5+ years’ experience testing custom applications, reports, large data sets, or dashboards6. 5+ years’ experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designs, or testing7. 5+ years’ experience testing custom applications, reports, large data sets, or dashboards8. 5+ years’ experience producing technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designs, or testing9. 3 + years creating ad maintaining reports in Azure Power BI10. 3+ years’ experience developing with web applications11. 1+ years’ experience working with Azure Dev Ops (TFS) and Visual Studio .NET.12. May perform backup and recovery on database management systems, configure database parameters, and prototype designs against logical data models, defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements.13. May optimize database access and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost. 14. May support multiple services and multiple databases of medium to high complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility of data.15. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio, Reviews documents, including requirements documents, testing plans, development plans and architectural plans to ensure that implementation of said documents and plans will result in the system required by the user.16. Demonstrated experience with large-scale implementation projects. Preferred ExperienceThis position prefers the candidate have the following experience and/or knowledge:Preferred, but not required:1. Computer Science or Management Information Systems degree2. 10+ years’ experience in MS SQL3. 10+ years’ experience writing stored procedures4. 10+ years’ experience writing user defined functions5. 10+ years’ experience writing complex queries6. 5+ years’ experience with SSRS7. 4+ years’ experience with Azure Power BI8. 2+ years’ experience with MVC and C# web application projects.9. 2+ years’ experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance10. 1+ years’ experience in ADO and VS.NET11. Experience working in state government, specifically in the field of Education or Early Learning12.
