Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a certified Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.Your responsibilities in this role- Create data recording systems and business analysis for the department to use- Monitor data and call out any changes in business and financial trends- Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis- Collect data and perform accurate analysis for various types of business reports- Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout- Convey the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers- Create business reports that provide insight into key data points- Support database updates and maintain accuracy Requirements - One to three years of experience as a financial or business analyst- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines- Strong analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports- Superb critical thinking skills to make decisions and solve business problems- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs- Comfortable with business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers- Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results- Ability to use data tools to create pivot tables, graphs and charts Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
