RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Wireless CPE Documentation Engineer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Englewood, CO. Our client strives to connect their customers to superior communications and entertainment products with the highest quality service.Summary:The Wireless CPE Documentation Engineer will be performing planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for wireless network systems of high complexity. The candidate designs, develops and implements wireless network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement. They will also be responsible for implementation of wireless network architecture and designs.Major Duties and Responsibilities: Wireless CPE Documentation Engineer participates in wireless network planning, wireless network architecture design and engineering Integrates and schematically depicts communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete wireless network configurations Evaluates new products, performs wireless network problem resolution As a Wireless Engineer, you will develop and implement approved methods of procedure Designs, develops, and implements wireless network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvementREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP), Wireless industry and vendor specific training (Cisco, Ariss, Ruckus, etc.) 5+ Wireless network experience Proficient data wireless networking knowledge (OSI Model, TCP/IP, etc.) Proficient knowledge of related wireless industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants, Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocols Proficient knowledge in wireless network design, wireless network architecture, protocols, and wireless network topology Proficient knowledge of basic wireless network devices and basic wireless network appliances Proficient knowledge of wireless network designing software, such as Visio and knowledge of Microsoft OfficeThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
