Who You Are:The MVNO Architect is a subject matter expert and experienced professional responsible for the design, development, and implementation of MVNO provisioning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MVNO and MNO operations with a special focus on end-to-end network provisioning and a deep understanding of SIM. The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of network functions on 4G and 5G and be well versed in current trends in the wireless industry. Hands on experience in deploying private 5G networks and working with MNOs on 5G deployments is a plus as much of the work will be in coaching developers, reviewing code, originating, and implementing design, and process management. This position is for a technical leader who can push existing teams to new horizons.At the Consultant-level, you will be expected to independently contribute ideas, recommendations, and solutions toward solving business challenges, construct key components of deliverables/presentations, and contribute to the development of Intellectual Capital (IC) and Marketing Collateral. You will serve as a team leader for individual work streams and acquire a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s expertise, product set, and capabilities. Role and Responsibilities:You may work on various projects throughout you career with Excelacom. The roles and responsibilities noted below pertain to the specific role listed above.

• Design, develop, and implement MVNO type Systems Integration and Automation solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to the team; mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions meet the needs of the business.
• Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends in the wireless industry. Propose solutions and proof of concept cases based on this.
• Supports mobile strategy with technology expertise to assess the feasibility of new business opportunities such as home automation.
• Responsible for Multi-IMSI/Operator provisioning strategy, definition, and execution.
• Program and manage technical or functional projects in the telecom space from inception through testing and release in an Agile environment
• Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
• Direct complex projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents and solution partners through all phases of the SDLC
• Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters
• In addition to delivering at the client site, you will be tasked in productizing Excelacom’s work, contributing to our Center of Excellence and working on Excelacom proposals to customers as well.
• You will have specific business development targets
• Meet with your team members to give constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in telecom/mobile systems architecture
• Must be onsite at the office
• Detailed Knowledge of OSS/BSS implementation for Mobile/MVNO.
• Detailed Knowledge in System Integration for Mobile Wireless Platforms.
• Ability to Design and Architect API for Integration Components
• Integration, automation, and monitoring experience with: SM-DP+, SIM-OTA, OMA-DM, UDM/UDR/AUSF/AMF, HLR/HSS, AAA & Diameter
• Expertise in Tools & formats - AWS, Kafka, MQ, Swagger, Postman, JSON, XML – Schema Definitions, validations etc.
• Intuitive level of Telecom Subject Matter Expertise: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to speak to enterprise-wide Network Solutions technologies
• Progressive experience in software engineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multiple products, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong business acumen and executive presence.
• Experience and or knowledge of creating product requirements of MVNO products and driving solution design and architecture with cross functional teams.
• Passion & understanding of wireless technologies (e.g. 5G Architecture, Private LTE, CBRS, Virtualized Networks), End-to-End Wireless Ecosystem (Devices, RAN, Backhaul, Mobile Core, OSS/BSS and Customer Experience) and relevant vendors and OEMs.
• Success on delivering complex projects for communication providers
• Experience on core consulting capabilities like: requirements, testing, implementations, deployments, change management, etc.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, business process re-engineering and/or project management required
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to provide stakeholder engagement among the Business, Technology and Development teams
• Must be a self-starter and able to learn quickly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with transitioning MVNO from reseller to full MVNO capabilities
• Private CBRS or 5G experience, SIM manufacturing, direct work with MNOs

Compensation and Benefits:For individuals assigned to work in Colorado, Excelacom is required to include a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. However, final salaries will vary based on several factors, such as candidate’s level, qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. An individual may be hired at the Analyst, Consultant, or Manager level for this role with each level requiring an increasing set of responsibilities. For regular full-time employees, the estimated salary range is from $85,000 to $120,000/yr.Our competitive salaries are just one component of Excelacom’s total compensation package for our regular full-time employees.
