Job DetailsBe a thought leader, a project manager, and a coach: Adhere to best-in-class engineering by ensuring that services and components are:well-defined, modular, secure, reliable, reusable, diagnosable, and actively monitored Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices via code + design reviews,iterative + frequent deployment into production, and shift-left for quality assurance viaautomation Educate yourself on state of the art technologies, infrastructure + platform services in theAWS Cloud domain, and execute POCs to evaluate technology fits for product needs Technically lead a project end-to-end through the analysis, design, development, qualityassurance and production readiness phases as iteratively as possible Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization for cloud, automation, and end-to-endarchitecture for our SaaS solution Work closely with various business stakeholders to successfully monitor progress ofmajor initiatives and features Set an example to the rest of the technical team by practicing what you preach and viacontinuous innovation Coach and mentor software engineers and site reliability engineers at various stages intheir career laddersDo some killer individual work: Architect, design and oversee development of distributed software and systems thatcomprise multiple components and services for strategic roadmap projects Design components and services with a strong focus on the -ilities - availability,scalability, reliability, upgradability, maintainability Analyze current and legacy technologies within the product and come up with innovativedesigns to evolve them with a focus on aforementioned -ilities and best practices Prototype and experiment with multiple solutions to evaluate the pros and cons ofalternative architectures and designs, and by using data to make decisionsRequirements: History of mentoring individuals and guiding organizations towards technical excellence Strong passion for delivering high quality, large scale services that focus on the -ilities(scalability, availability, reliability, maintainability, reusability) Strong problem-solving skills and passion to solve hard problems as part of a team Strong project management, leadership, and coaching skills Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures High level of proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases and the ultra-efficientmanagement of large data sets Solid understanding of cloud security best practices Solid understanding of cloud cost optimization solutions 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering 5+ years hands on experience with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar) 5+ years hands on experience with CI/CDInterested in hearing more?
