Job DetailsJob Summary:As a Staff Software Engineer you will be responsible for driving engineering initiatives for the company systems through architecting, designing, and implementing the respective system components with the main focus on the backend services, but also including front-end, DevOps infrastructure, and databases.Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new features using Ruby on Rails
• Design and develop APIs for affiliate integrations
• Write automated tests and test infrastructure to support it.
• Troubleshoot production issues and research solutions to customer feedback.
• Keep up to date with ruby and rails design patterns.
• Model database schema in MySQL
• Design associated object models in Ruby
• Build easy-to-use, well-tested, scalable microservices
• Enhance our development and delivery process through new tools
• Work with QA to enhance product quality through automation
• Analyze and fix bugs and other issues

Job Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional development experience
• Strong command of Ruby on Rails
• Experience in creating robust and secure REST APIs
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to collaborate with remote co-workers

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with both large and small teams in collaboration with developers of any discipline.
• Experience deploying applications using Teamcity to AWS.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (preferably Angular)
