Sr. to Lead DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer - Edge Computing Leader

Location: San Jose or Seattle or Salt Lake City or Remote.The company is seeking to hire 4 Site Reliability Engineers. The company can hire engineers from mid to senior to lead/manager (leading 4 people) level).The company is a public company that is valued at over $10 billion. The company's product involves SaaS, Edge Computing, and Security.You would be working with a team of about 10 people. There are team members in the US, Europe, and Asia. The product you would be working on runs across 25 global data centers and has 2,000 Kubernetes clusters.The company will pay very competitive salary (no salary cap), plus bonuses, plus RSUs.

Job Responsibilities:- Designing and delivering infrastructure solutions that will help deploy, monitor and handle the service components of the platform.- Collaborating with architects and technical leaders to vet and implement the design.- Developing mechanisms to automate monitoring, logging, alerting for an SaaS platform.- Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.- Investigating open source and close source technologies, components, libraries, tools etc. and help build a highly scalable, highly available, and easily manageable system.- Hands-on coding in multiple languages, with a focus on performance, scalability, maintainability, and flexibility.

Qualifications- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering and site reliability engineering.- Experience with cloud orchestration systems such as Openstack or Kubernetes.- Experience building and managing large scale cloud based efforts.- Technical confidence and familiarity with DevOps tools, techniques and mindset.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
