Responsibilities

• Design, document and communicate secure, scalable architectures for a cloud-based platform that supports IoT device integration, intelligent video, and data analytics.
• Create end-to-end solutions ensuring high scalability, availability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Advance the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to the intelligent video and physical security market.
• Assess technical feasibility by building rapid POC's, find technological solutions for gaps, and create strategic IP.
• Build high-quality, elegant, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership to engineers.
• Experiment with new technologies, guide adoption, implement a long-term technology vision for the product.
• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing.
• Provide subject matter expertise to engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Interface with customers as needed to understand use cases, solutions and overall requirements.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and work with appropriate engineering and product teams on issue resolution.
• Evaluate new technologies and consistently generate new ideas.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and bring industry knowledge while exemplifying an entrepreneurial mindset.
