Job DetailsMy client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer with plenty of drive, passion, and motivation to join our Ventiv team to work on our P&C Claims Administration software. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible developing new features, resolving defects and assisting support in triaging product issues, The role requires excellent communication and documentation skills. This role involves interaction daily with our customers as well as other departments within the company. Troubleshooting, configuration, database administration, server configuration, bug fixing and quality of the ticket resolution are critical components of the position.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Resolve produce defect tickets within the assigned sprint
• Research reported issues and liaison with Help Desk to ensure proper resolution
• Diagnose and resolve issues based on knowledge based on experience
• Execute Queries against the database to diagnose data issues
• Code Defect Resolutions (Bug Fixes)
• Develop new features per specifications
• Ensure all code meets development standards and processes

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ Years of Java Software Development Experience
• 2+ Years of Oracle Database Experience
• 2+ Years of Microsoft SQL Server Database Experience
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess excellent management and organization skills
• Patience and the ability to perform tasks accurately
