A bit about us:A revolution in ophthalmology with the development of Perfect vision for each and every cataract patient.Our Goal is to create a tool which enables every ophthalmologist to create "Perfect" vision in each patient. The doctor will be able to adjust an existing cataract " in vivo" to correct any deficiency. In addition we intend to design a system where ultra precise lens are manufactured using a laser.

Job DetailsThe Candidate should be well rounded and knowledgeable in matters such as; Software Development Life Cycles and Document & Design Control. Our goal is a safe and robust medical device that is built correctly the first time and meets compliance.Essential Functions & Responsibilities;Design architecture to support medical device software and integration of hardware components and GUIsDevelop advanced algorithms in image processingUpdate legacy code with modern design patterns and current coding standardsDevelop and maintain software requirements and other design documentationImplement, test, debug, and deploy new versions of applicationsDevelop and set technical approach, scheduling, in-depth software development, implementation and standardsCollaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, comments and suggestionsEnsure that the software developed is technically sound by having the ability to deep dive into the details of the architecture and designsDevelop deep technical and domain understanding, and provide architectural and technical leadership, in all areas of our software developmentAbility to provide technical and team leadership through coachingAttend and contribute to project meetings to report on progress and resolve design planning and coordination issuesParticipate in quality control activities and software development/testing processes in support of the Perfect Lens quality control systemRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, math, physics (preferred)10+ years of software engineering and technical leadership experienceSolid programming experience in C and CExperience in embedded systemsInterested in hearing more?
