Job Title: Network Security Engineer Location: Remote (STRONG preference for California) Duration: 12 month Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $40/hr - $45/hr on W2 Responsibilities: Works directly with customers, vendors, and Strategic Partners to identify, troubleshoot, resolve data networking related issues and/or design network solutions.
- Experience maintaining, supporting, and Deploying Palo Alto Firewalls
- Ability to manage an HA environment - Active Passive.
- Experience working with Panorama Dashboards
- Managing Palo Alto with F5 Load Balancers
- Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls. 25% ASA and 75% Palo Alto
- Maintain data integrity through daily backup of all file server information.
- Troubleshoot firewall problems.
- Provide timely and accurate progress status on all ongoing support issues, with an emphasis on problems, issues, and concerns.
- Work with client groups to ensure that end users have all required equipment properly installed and configured based on specific project requirements.
- Monitor print servers and troubleshoot and resolve all network printing issues. Evaluate and recommend new or upgraded products to enhance the performance of the LAN/ WAN.
- Provides support of firewall issues, troubleshooting complex heterogeneous networks and working with multiple teams.
- Communicates effectively and continually seeks opportunities to increase internal customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
