IT Support Analyst

Overview: An onsite resource for Managed Service Provider to provide general PC and IT Infrastructure support for the various units within a local Police Department, ie. Administration, Records, Dispatch, Traffic, Patrol, Detectives, Evidence, and Jail
  • Desktop and Laptop setup and troubleshooting along with driver/firmware maintenance
  • Active Directory user management, Exchange email setup and maintenance
  • File Sharing setup and user permission management
  • Patrol Car Panasonic Toughbook setups, Verizon Cellular/Netmotion VPN Connectivity and application troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with Internal IT staff on any current projects or items needed
  • Liaise with Dispatch supervisor for various ongoing Phone System projects, and user issues
  • Deepnet Multifactor user maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Tyler Technologies NWS user maintenance and application support – Records Management, Dispatch, Cashiering and Mobile app, leveraging Tyler Support if needed
  • Sentinel One Antivirus deployment and PC maintenance
  • Proofpoint Spam Filtering support and user maintenance
  • Wireless AP deployment and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Shoretel Voip Phone System user maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Faxfinder software setup and troubleshooting
  • Network Printer/Print Server Troubleshooting
  • Isonas Security Door Access User Maintenance
  • Laserfiche Records Management Application user management and scanner troubleshooting
  • DVR recording capture and retrieval

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with PD a Huge Plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience with large (>300 users) environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel at times to remote locations with little notice.
  • Ability to work under the pressures of a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, non-traditional business hours during the week and rotating on-call duties.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of personnel in a time-sensitive, high pressure environment.
  • Strong telephone support skills.
  • Ability to learn and retain knowledge of new technology and software quickly.
  • General understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and operations.
