- Design, architect, and implement defensive security controls across endpoints (macOS, Windows), servers (Windows), PAAS, and SAAS/self-hosted applications.
- Provide security domain expertise on protective controls, including system, network, encryption, and authentication services.
- Maintain and administer computer networks and related server environments.
- Implement and manage incident response.
- Knowledge of IT compliance (PCI, SOC, SOX, Etc.)
- Manage and perform disaster recovery operations.
- Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
- Maintain, configure, and monitor endpoint protection software
- Design, architect, and implement defensive security controls for e-mail (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, attachment sandboxing, etc.) and other collaboration applications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve security for identity access and management (IAM), device management, and public cloud service providers (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure).
- Perform security evaluations, scans, and research on new and existing platforms, products, architectures, vendors, and services.
- Coordinate and manage network access and use.
- Work closely with our Technical Operations, Engineering/Infrastructure, and Business Application teams to drive impactful changes to the company's network defense posture.
- 5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows servers running in a virtual environment.
- 3 years of direct information security experience with deep exposure in protecting operating systems and networks.
- Minimum 3-years of experience with the entire suite of MS Office 365 applications.
- 3-years of experience configuring Cisco networking equipment such as routers, switches, access points.
- Expertise with Windows Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS
- Experience with public Cloud service providers (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure).
- Experience in Cloud-native security-related tools (AWS Guard Duty, AWS WAF, AWS CloudTrail, etc.).
- Intermediate or better proficiency with a scripting language (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar).
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, controllers.
- Experience with infrastructure automation platforms a plus.
