Job SummaryThe San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting to fill a vacancy for a Functional Consultant, Human Capital Management (HCM) Application and Systems Development with the Integrated Technology Services Division. The Functional Consultant, HCM Application & Systems Development is responsible for providing consultant/expert level hands-on functional application leadership in managing, designing, configuring, testing, and administering various components of a large scale complex PeopleSoft environment/platform supporting critical business functions utilized across SDCOE, school districts, and charter schools in the County.Make a Difference in one of our PeopleSoft Technology Jobs at SDCOE As a Hands-on Leader of PeopleSoft Technology to Shape Strategic DecisionsThe PeopleSoft Team at SDCOE is currently utilizing PeopleSoft in a Hosted environment. There are approximately 50 LEAs using the HCM and Financial applications. The HCM application consists of HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time/Labor, Absence Management, ESS modules. The FSCM application consists of GL, AR, AP, KK, Purchasing, Inventory, Asset Management, Billing, time/Expense. We are using current and supported PeopleSoft versions:• Application: 9.2• PUM: HCM r33; FIN r34• PeopleTools: 8.57The PeopleSoft Team at SDCOE is currently working on projects in the following areas:• PeopleTools Upgrade 8.58• PUM Updates for Recruiting (22 Updates)• Recruiting Solution Project• AP/ACH and Supplier Portal• Encumbrances Improvement• Decentralize District ACH returnsRemote Work:Option to work remotely for California residents. Our location requirements are in US, California.

Requirements / QualificationsThis position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to: a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of advanced PeopleSoft application and analysis experience with at least four (4) HCM modules in multiple-entity or enterprise environments, including at least five (5) years of consulting experience as a Peoplesoft Implementation Consultant in a Lead position; three (3) full life cycles for PeopleSoft implementations on large complex projects; two (2) PUM updates.Functional subject matter expert (SME) with the relevant applications and modules below as well as good PeopleSoft product foundational background.The functional experience must include the following:
  • PeopleSoft HCM
  • Benefit Administration
  • North American Payroll
  • Recruiting
  • Prefer some PeopleSoft Testing Framework (PTF)
