The ProjectHere is what our project’s are typically like: a project team will deliver a new Qlikview Dashboard and/or Qlik Sense apps that help our Genentech business partners in contracting, contract operations, government pricing, channel management/operations to automate and expand their analytics in their respective areas.From a high level, projects typically:

• Leverage it’s existing CDIP (Land, Delta, History), “Managed Care Data Mart”(aka MCDM), and Qlik infrastructure
• Leverage existing data sources such as 867 (indirect sales, 844 (chargebacks), 852 (channel inventory), Payer Contracts utilization, settled Rebates, IQVIA affiliations etc.
• Bring in new data sources
• Integrate data in MCDM and apply business rules
• Create a new Qlikmart and new Dashboard that meeting business requirements

The Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be accountable for:

• Understanding and documenting current state business processes
• Gathering and documenting the user requirements specifications
• Translating those requirements into functional specifications
• Participating in visual design meetings and ensuring design meets requirements and aligns with functional specification
• Planning and leading sprint reviews with the business
• Planning, scheduling, and leading business meetings related to design, build reviews, and sprint reviews
• Manage offshore “data analyst” resource and coordinate with onshore team to get required information

Specifically, you will be required to create the following deliverables using standard Genentech templates: project user stories, functional specifications, gap analysis, and sprint review overview deck.The Qualifications (Required)

• At least five years’ experience as a business systems analyst
• At least two prior integrated data and analytics platform projects in the role as lead business systems analyst.
• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate a technical subject matter to non-technical users.
• Excellent-to-advanced skills in:
• Meeting planning, facilitation, and follow-up
• Business process re-engineering
• Data analysis and report design
• Documentation including process and data flows
• Interpersonal and organizational skills.

Technical Skills (Required)

• Google Apps
• Lucidchart (or any advanced workflow solution)
• Specific project experience with agile principles and SCRUM methodology

Qualifications/ Technical Skills (Preferred)Familiarity with the following is preferred:

• Pharmaceutical contracting, sales, distribution, and discount (chargebacks/rebates) validation & payment
• Qlikview or Tableau dashboard design
