Business Intelligence Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is working with a Finance client in San Francisco, CA that is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their team. This role is fully remote, contract to hire, and the team is looking to convert to full time quickly! This is an exciting space and has one of the highest budgets in the industry!Summary:We are seeking excellent problem solvers who have a passion for data and a relentless focus on execution and delivery. You will be most successful with a balanced combination of both technical skills and business acumen. The Business Intelligence Analyst is primarily responsible for the preparation, production, and validation of numerous reporting outputs for the company. They will focus on normalizing and standardizing internal and external data in order to provide accurate and consistent reports. This position will work closely with key representatives of other business units to accomplish company priorities. The BI Analyst works independently to complete excellent and precise work, you will generate insights by conducting extensive analyses of data. You will also apply industry best practices to writing reports, conduct research, analyze data, and make recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of work experience preferably in the areas of business and data analysis Preferred Master's degree in quantitative field such as Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer science, or related field 2+ years of Credit Union experience in the areas of business and data analysis 1+ years of experience using query tools against relational database to analyze data quality and content Experience querying Corelation Keystone is highly preferred Experience in building advanced, clear, and concise data visualization dashboards (Tableau) Effective Consulting and Facilitation Skills - understand what the business unit wants Working knowledge of Microsoft BI tools like SSMS, SSIS, SSRS, Azure DevOps, etc. Proficient in BI tools like Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, or Power BI Competency with leading Business Intelligence and analytical tools Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Business acumen, knowledge, and professionalism Strong analytical, excellent communication, collaboration skills, problem solving, and work management skills Customer-focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization Ability to work independentKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
