Be seen, be heard, launch your very own ideas into orbit, and celebrate every professional triumph alongside a small (but mighty) team of innovators like you.The Technical Program Manager (TPM) works with a team of hardware and firmware/software engineers in conjunction with Aira’s business management and executive team to coordinate all aspects of the customer engagement process using an agile scrum and waterfall blended product development system.The TPM is also responsible for first-level technical support of the customer, managing complex NPI and product ramp schedules, and providing critical feedback on Aira’s ability to rapidly align to customer needs. These activities include program milestones, technical Q&A, design alignment, product requirement documentation, implementation of change notices, and resolution of technical and supply-chain issues. Day to Day Responsibilities:This position requires relocation to the Greater Phoenix, Arizona area.
  • Manage new product introductions (NPI), customer program and ramp schedules at Aira’s headquarters Arizona, and in conjunction with Aira’s ecosystem of contract subcontractors in Asia
  • Analyze, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all team members are actively working toward established milestones
  • Manage technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, as well as roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives
  • Interface with all key stakeholders, including B2B customers, to ensure clear communications on all projects

Basic Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Electronics, Hardware, or similar technical field
  • Ability to be flexible to work in international business hours with worldwide customers, and Asia based supply chain partners
  • 2+ Years of experience in a Technical Program Management role
  • 2+ Years experience in a daily customer facing role with demonstrated experience in complex problem solving and providing reports on status updates of on-going and / or future programs
  • Knowledgeable in advanced electronics hardware processes including but not limited to qualification and volume ramp
  • Experience working in a fast-paced start-up or new venture environment with demonstrated ability in time management and risk mitigation
  • Strong technical and non-technical verbal and written communication skills in both large or small groups including excellent presentation capability and cross-functional stakeholder influence
  • Ability to take initiative and be self driven in managing multiple active programs among key customers / stakeholders
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Program Management / CRM tools
  • Proficiency with SPC, DOE, FMEA

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience as a Program Manager in the automotive industry
