Senior Semiconductor Process Engineers

RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Semiconductor Process Engineers in Tempe, Arizona (AZ).Summary:This growing Semiconductor is seeking a few Senior Process Engineers. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager. In this role reporting to Senior Director Surface Technology, you will work with other global technology team members including materials scientists, equipment engineers, process, quality, and field service engineers as well as external customers.Responsibilities include: Drive improvements in Epitaxy and Vertical Furnace system component longevity, stability, refurbishment/service strategy, process performance to enable reliable, efficient deposition of next generation advanced thin film materials exhibiting various electrical and physical properties Develop new approaches to clean, coat, protect, and refurbish internal deposition chamber components to improve performance, lifetime, defectivity, and CoO for customers processing various materials for use as functional/active layers in semiconductor device stacks Senior Semiconductor Process Engineers will connect process conditions, physical characterization, deposition chamber response towards understanding of mechanisms and specifications Specify, procure, and develop state-of-the-art process equipment Leverage advanced knowledge of various wet, dry mechanical clean process methodologies, and utilize expertise in a range of surface/bulk characterization methods Direct/manage projects, relationships with critical 3rd party suppliers, and supporting institutions Senior Semiconductor Process Engineers has IP generation and understanding of relevant technology to improve automation, data collection, and processes Work with SDE/SQE to establish data pipelines, specs (analytical, SPC, cosmetic), and procedures (stats, quality, and specs)REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering or similar technical/scientific field; Master's degree or PH.D. degree preferred 2-5+ years of industrial experience in semiconductor equipment and component cleaning and refurbishment or similar Solid understanding of Design-of-Experiments execution and statistical data analysis Familiarity with common characterization and metrology techniques including: Optical inspection, stress, ICP-MS, particle analysis, XRF, FTIR, etc. Ability to engage with internal & external customers both on a highly technical basis and personally. Opportunistic mindset for IP generation and understanding of relevant technology to improve automation, data collection, and processes Capable of working with SDE/SQE to establish data pipelines, specs (analytical, SPC, cosmetic), and procedures (stats/quality/specs) Proven ability to solve complex analytical problems and provide robust solutions based on solid technical logic Have a passion for surface engineering processes, be inquisitive to drive projects, root-cause failure investigations whilst being systematic, and entrepreneurial in mind-set Demonstrate experience within a high-volume semiconductor clean room environment Familiar with machining, manufacturing, equipment design, and fixture/drawing creation process Specialism in quartz refurbishment activities is highly desired Familiar with machining, manufacturing, equipment design, and fixture/drawing creation process is a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
