Senior FPGA Design Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, a growing company in the Mesa, AZ area is seeking a Senior FPGA Design/PCB Design Engineer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this search assignment.Duties: Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of analog and digital circuit cards, including the design of the integrated FPGAs; These designs are targeted for spacecraft electronics Implement circuit designs based on requirements and derived requirements Perform and document trade studies on high-risk design areas Develop conceptual designs (and documentation) that are easily understood Generate detailed designs with detailed analysis that shows compliance to requirements and good design practices Senior FPGA Design/PCB Design Engineer will generate FPGA specifications (requirements) Develop FPGA design architecture Develop RTL code for flight FPGAs Architect and develop self-checking FPGA testbenchesREQUIREMENTS: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent At least 3-5 years of circuit card design (PCB) and/or 3-5 years of FPGA design experience Experience with FPGA VHDL design for space applications, SystemVerilog and advanced testbench design is a plus but is not required Experience with space electronics circuit design is a plus; Will also consider candidates from other highly regulated industries MSEE is a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
