Our culinary team is passionate about creating memorable dining experiences through innovative and flavorful dishes. We are currently seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team.

Job Summary: As a Line Cook at Flora's Market Run, you will play a crucial role in executing our menu with precision and creativity. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and upholding the highest culinary standards. -Food Preparation: Prepare and portion ingredients as per recipes and menu specifications. Maintain consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality of all dishes.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation of food items during service.

-Cooking: Execute cooking techniques with precision, including grilling, sautéing, baking, and frying. Monitor and adjust cooking times and temperatures to achieve desired results.

Ensure that food is cooked to the correct level of doneness and flavor.

-Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and dish presentation. Stay updated on menu changes and specials.

-Food Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Maintain a clean and organized work station, following proper cleaning procedures.

Assist in the proper storage of food items to prevent waste.

-Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other members of the kitchen staff.

Communicate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth service.

-Quality Control: Consistently inspect and taste dishes for quality, adjusting seasonings and flavors as needed. Report any issues or discrepancies to the Head Chef.

-Efficiency: Work efficiently during peak service hours to ensure timely preparation of orders. Prioritize tasks to meet service demands while maintaining food quality.


-Proven experience as a Line Cook

-Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.

-Knowledge of various cooking techniques and equipment.

-Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

-Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

-Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required.

Physical Demands:

-Ability to stand for extended periods.

-Ability to lift heavy pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.

-Stamina to work in a hot kitchen environment.
