OVERVIEW:We are looking to hire a skilled IT Desktop Support Engineer to join an established team, that supports one of our major oil and gas customers. The team provides L1 and L2 IT support for a large number of users within the Anchorage facility, as well as remote support for those further afield RESPONSIBILITIES:- Diagnose and resolve IT incidents. Some examples include:
- Printer related issues
- Connectivity
- Software related issues
- Operating system
- Installation of peripheral components
- AV/VC configuration and problem resolution
- Installation of software packages and minor remediation
- Escalation to appropriate party where appropriate
- Ownership of issue
- 1-5+ years of IT Desktop Support experience
- BSc in Computer Science or relevant field
- Strong communications skills
